Chicago, IL

Chicago is my work home base, so I have been there a few times. I travel there a couple times a year and I am starting to get used to the area (mostly North of Chicago). Here are some of the highlights.

Lake Michigan. Basically like the ocean with sandy beaches and endless horizon.

Lake Michigan is the biggest lake I have personally seen, it’s beautiful and so much bigger than I imagined (I know there are larger lakes but for me this was the biggest so far).

Lawn mower

Sorry for the blurry image, but these little automatic lawn mowers are all over the Lake Forest area, adorable.

The pictures above are me in the borrowed office at work, deep dish pizza, portillos hot dog and some Lake Bluff Brewery beer. The pizza is OK but way heavier than I’m used to, and really kinda bland unless there are a lot of toppings. The hot dog Chicago style is delicious and messy haha. The beer was good, nothing special but not bad and the atmosphere in the place was nice and relaxing.
