Birthday Celebration

A little late to post but we took a week off in the beginning of October and traveled to a bunch of different places. I will just highlight a few here then write about the others another time, since we will definitely be going to all these places again!

Roscoe Beer Co

First we have Roscoe, a very small town in Upstate NY that is nestled nicely between 2 mountains and is famous for fishing. There is a distillery and a brewery here that were both very good. Do Good Spirits is the distillery and they have many kinds of whiskey and gin, tastings are free but donations are encouraged. There is a place to eat attached to them if you need a bite, we ate before we came so we didn’t try it but it looked very good!

The brewery was also very nice and has a great little outdoor area to enjoy your beer, had a very nice and chill atmosphere.

Staggering Unicorn

Next place I want to highlight is Staggering Unicorn, it’s a brand new winery in Athens PA that does fruit based wines. Everything we tried was very tasty and they have a big space for events! Strawberry and Peach are my favorites, will be definitely going there many more times in the future!

Some wine selections

Some honorable mentions that I didn’t get pictures of are Upward Brewing and Catskill Brewing, both are in the eastern NY area and very good, Upward wins for best outdoor space with lots of room to relax with a beer, and they even have a hiking trail! Catskill had a smaller space but still good.
