Las Vegas, NV
This trip was for a Microsoft Power platform Conference. It was mostly for learning about the different changes and aspects of the power platform. It was at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and it was overall a good experience but the everything is expensive and flashy which isn’t my style. The food was very good though.
The above pictures are from the conference center which was attached to the hotel but a good 15-20 min walk from my room. They have a huge courtyard with swimming pools and even a lazy river. Below was my first dinner, linguini and clams with garlic bread and a strawberry mule drink. It was all very tasty and I could have just eaten this all week and been happy. It was at Wolfgang Puck bar and grill.

Above is a montage of all the rest of my food (we had basic breakfast and lunch provided by Microsoft so I didn’t picture those) First there was at the food court they has a Nathans hotdog stand so I got a chili cheese dog and some fries, it was good and very messy. Then I had some Hagan Daas for dessert <3. Next day was just some chicken tenders with garlic bread and fries, not sure why it came with garlic bread but I won’t complain. Next is the pizza, I ate half of it at the restaurant but forgot to take the picture there, it was a mushroom pizza and very good, NV passes the pizza test. I had a couple of drinks along the way as well, the Happy Dad brand hard seltzer was very tasty I wish it was around here but I’ve never seen it. Finally I had a noodle dish from the Grand Wok noodle bar called Crispy Egg Noodles W/ Pork, and it was so good, the noodles were cooked in a way that the outside was crispy but the inside was soft, it had a light smoky taste and I loved it, if anyone knows any restaurants locally who make this let me know!

Overall I didn’t do anything exciting in Vegas, it was a long conference and lots of walking didn’t give me a lot of steam for other things. But I still had a good time and enjoyed learning and relaxing with food. It was a nice resort and there were slot machines everywhere, even at the airport! I didn’t gamble because I wanted to spend more money on food haha.
I also did see the sphere and some buildings all lit up which was nice, i didn’t get pictures because I was just flying by and was enjoying the scenery.
